Today on my Social Media pages, I declared that the last 6 months will be greater than the first 6 months of 2020. With the way 2020 has been going, that should not be a hard task! ANYTHING is almost greater than what we have experienced thus far. I dare not ask the popular question of 'what else can go wrong?' From Kobe Bryant passing away, CoViD-19, to civil unrest, and economic hardships, January to June 2020 has been the longest year ever!
As a man of faith, I am a firm believer in Proverbs 18:21 which reads:
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." I love the Contemporary English Version which reads:
"Words can bring death or life! Talk too much, and you will eat everything you say."
I think we all need to take time to speak life into our world. We have to realize we are totally incapable of doing anything without the help of the Lord. We have the power through faith to speak to 2020 for these last 6 months of the year. I am guilty of speaking negatively of CoViD-19, and the effects thereof. I am guilty of speaking negatively about a lot of the racial tension -- saying that it will never get better. But as we say in church- THE DEVIL IS A LIAR! Things will get better. In fact, they are ALREADY getting better.
There IS something better than this. Stay safe, strong and saved!
